Robert Bosch Kft. has been established in 1991 in Budapest as part of the Bosch Group. Currently more than 4000 colleagues are working here together, most of them within the Engineering Center Budapest. Besides that, the location serves as the Bosch south-east European sales center for vehicle parts, vehicle-diagnostic equipment, power tools, thermo technology systems and security technologies. Furthermore, corporate functions are also present, such as finance, controlling, purchasing, communication and human resources.
Strategic purchasing for the assigned material field and region – Source to Contract- Category: Logistics Services - Warehousing and Empties Management – for German-speaking countries (mainly Germany and Austria)
- Input to and implementation of global strategies for the defined category by ensuring compliance requirements
- Build effective stakeholder relationship management - e.g. logistic functions, plant- or divisional leaders). Increase of early involvement, demand- and project management
- Preparation and execution of tenders (RfI / RfQ)
- Design of negotiation strategy and execution under competition as well as without competition
- Preparation and approval of purchasing decisions / contracts in accordance with the signature regulations
- Manage suppliers to ensure timely deliveries and quality compliance, incl. data quality, evalua-tion- including risk management as well as contract management,
- Ensure productivity, service quality and innovations at your supply base
- Carry out market analysis to identify and follow current trends
- Identify new buying possibilities and strategies, use the full potential of the entire global team
Strategic and entrepreneurial thinking- Experience in Contract- and price negotiations
- Understanding and knowledge of the supply chain area (logistics, planning, order, etc.)
- Project management skills and capability to efficiently manage multiple projects
- Effective listening and communication (verbally and writing) with stakeholders on various hierarchy levels. Good cross-functional coordination and strong commercial mindset
- Quality understanding
- Clarity and accuracy: Check own work
- Willingness to take responsibility and decisive in a time-sensitive situation
- Solicits inputs and encourages others
- Problem-solving and analytical skills. Ability to identify issues, develop solutions and drive results
- Data analysis and profound Microsoft Office knowledge
- Able to work in a digital environment (Sourcing tools, databases, etc.)

- Business fluent English and German language knowledge (min. Level C1)
- Bachelor/Master (preferred) degree and 3-5 years minimum professional experience in Procurement, Purchasing, Sourcing, Contracts Management or equivalent role
