As senior accountant, you will report to the accounting and consolidation lead of the C&A Europe group. Your primary role will be the comprehensive accounting and reporting of the treasury and holding entities based in Luxembourg, as well as coordinating the accounting and reporting activities for the holding entities based in Switzerland.
Your responsibilities at C&A:

Ensure the integrity of the trial balance through precise recording of financial transactions in the general ledger.- Prepare and submit tax returns, tax declarations, and VAT declarations within specified deadlines.
- Generate monthly management result reports in accordance with group guidelines.
- Coordinate the preparation of half-yearly and year-end IFRS reports for group consolidation purposes, as well as the preparation of statutory financial statements.
- Coordination and supervising the accounting department for Swiss-based holding entities
- Assist the accounting and consolidation lead in various group financial matters and projects, including consolidation support (e.g., intercompany reconciliations) and monthly financial closing matters related to the management reporting.
What we expect of you:
- Holds at least a Bachelor’s degree in accounting and/or finance
- At least 3 years of relevant work experience in accounting, preferably in an international environment.
- Good knowledge and understanding of basis accounting practices, with IFRS and Luxembourg GAAP as a plus.
- Understanding of complicated legal and accounting structures.
- Good understanding of MS office tools (e.g. excel, ppt, word)
- Experienced in working with ERP systems, knowledge of SAP is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and numerical skills
- Language skills : fluent in English and French
