In the role of the Automotive Software Test Engineer you are in close contact to our development team and our experts for e-mobility applications like Electric Drive Systems, Battery Management Systems etc. You are taking over a key function in our various product & platform developments by actively driving the software test spirit and ensuring conformance to state-of-the-art technical solutions and legal standards.
Your responsibilities- You will work with an interdisciplinary team to design solution approaches and methods with a focus on automotive software development
- Creating, implementing and executing test specifications and test cases for code- and model-based software functions
- Creating and maintaining automated test sequences
- Creation and communication of test reports and results
- Setting up and supporting test benches (PiL/HiL)
- Supporting setup and maintenance of CI/CT/CD
- Supporting the implementation and further development of the test process within the project framework
- Experience in code-based or model-based software testing based on Matlab/Simulink (MiL/SiL/) and a test bench (PIL/HiL) is not foreign to you
- ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level certification desirable
- Experience in Automotive SPICE is a plus
- Experience in IEC 61508 or ISO 26262 and related methods, etc. is a plus
- Highly motivated to learn new things and to bring in new ideas as well as taking responsibility
- Passion for analytical and structured approaches
- Confident in conducting problem solving oriented technical discussions in-house and with customers or clients
- Profound communication skills, embracing teamwork and helping each other
- An independent, analytical way of working and a high level of commitment
- Excellent English skills
- German fluently is a plus
- Willingness to travel
