System Analyst

Job Description:
In this role, you would be part of a team working on a Life Policy Administration System. Main responsibilities would mainly include (but not be limited to):
- Product Ownership including:
- Requirements: Analysis, Communication & Documentation.
- Ensure all designs are aligned with the end-to-end solution.
- Timely delivery of the Design, Interface, and Output Documents.
- Configuration of the Parameters defining a Feature.
- Update of the Product Documentation.
- Sign-off with stakeholders to manage Assumptions, Risks, Issues, Decisions and Constraints.
- Review of the Technical Designs.
- Support of the Development throughout the Build Phase.
- Support of Testing including Definition of Acceptance Criteria, Review of Test Scripts and Expert Testing.
- Peer Review Activities with other Business and System Analysts for Completeness and Quality Assurance.
- Create Training Material in Cooperation with the Training Team and provide internal and external Training sessions on Demand.
- Support the Release/Project Phase Planning.
- Act as Design Authority:
- Act as a trusted advisor to peers.
- Provide customers with Design Advice guidance and consultancy throughout the project phase.
- Engage with stakeholders, such as Solution Architects, Program Directors and Managers, Delivery Managers, Product Managers.
Requirements:
- BSc in Math, Computer Science, or Information Systems Engineering – an advantage.
- At least 3 years’ experience as a System Analyst using Agile methodology – A must.
- At least 5 years’ experience working in a Life and Pensions environment – An advantage:
- In-depth knowledge of Life and Pensions and of Life and Pensions administration systems.
- Demonstrated experience of full project lifecycle having been involved in numerous system implementation or enhancement projects, and significant functional change implementations.
- Pensions project experience including occupational and personal pensions, regulations, data migrations, accumulation and drawdown, supporting end-to-end solution design.
- Fund scheme/investment platform experience.
- Basic Command of SQL. – a must
- Fluent English – writing and verbal: a must; Other European languages - an advantage.
Travel
- Up to 25% travel to customers’ sites.
