Royce Hall, a historic landmark completed in 1929, is a premier performing arts venue managed by UCLA Theater Management Services. Under the general supervision of the Venue Manager, this position provides technical support for our season of world-class performances as well as other events scheduled in the venues T.M.S. services. Working hours include nights, weekends and occasional holidays and overtime.

Significant theatrical, dance or music production experience involving installing, moving, arranging and storing common theatrical elements including carpentry & rigging, electrical & AV/sound, stage-drapery, rigging, chain-hoists & fly-systems, stage-platforming, dance floors, orchestra shells & pits, backline, follow-spots, props, painting, wardrobe, shop operations, along with the ability to safely operate common hand & power tools.

Physical ability to perform event duties that involve walking, stooping, bending, stretching, climbing, pulling, pushing and extended periods of standing. Must be able to lift a maximum of 65 lbs. of bulky objects such as fixtures, sandbags & cables, as well as performing event-related tasks with possible exposure to noise, vibration, dust & drafts and at considerable heights
