Responsibilities
- Registered with the PSA
- Display PSA badge always
- Sign in on security log when they arrive at restaurant.
- Sign out at end of shift
- Enter details of any incidents in the security log
Logbook
- All ejections, thefts and Garda visits must be recorded in the logbook.
- Fights and any criminal damage must be recorded in the logbook.
- Each entry must be counter signed by the McDonalds Shift Manager
Hospitality
- Be always helpful and friendly to all customers.
- Assist customers with prams, bags, and luggage always.
- Assist customers with trays as appropriate.
- Greet customers as they enter and leave the restaurant.
- Assist in managing large numbers of customers at Shift Manager’s request (Crowd Control)
- Clean tables when needed
- Keep the McDonald’s Values alive in the restaurant and at the heart of everything you do.
- Being reliable and punctual
- Following on site security requirements including internal and external travel paths.
Expectations
- The front doors must be kept clear for safety reasons
- Guards must act professionally and courteously to all customers and staff
- Please do not disturb staff from there work
- Guard should be proactive in helping customers who are returning food by bringing it to the attention of the Shift Manager
- Please refrain from distracting crew and managers
- Guards must not engage on their phone for personal use while on duty
- Guards must not entertain friends or colleagues at any time in the restaurant
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 30 per week
