Sales officer
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Sales Officer to join our team. As a Sales Officer, you will be responsible for generating sales by actively promoting/selling our products to offline clients and customers. The role requires strong interpersonal skills, a persuasive demeanor, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets. It is essential for the candidate to have their own conveyance to travel to various locations for client meetings and sales activities.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve assigned sales targets within the designated territory. 2. Identify potential customers by researching and analyzing market trends and competitor activity. 3. Actively promote and sell our products to offline customers through direct sales activities, including cold calling, door-to-door sales, and face-to-face meetings. 4. Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business. 5. Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective customers, highlighting the features and benefits of our offerings. 6. Provide accurate and timely sales forecasts, reports, and updates on sales activities to the sales manager. 7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends, market developments, and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. 8. Collaborate with the marketing team to develop marketing materials and campaigns to support sales activities. 9. Attend trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to represent the company and generate leads. 10. Follow up on sales leads and inquiries in a timely and professional manner. 11. Continuously strive to improve sales skills and product knowledge through training and self-development.
Qualifications and Skills:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. 2. Proven experience in sales, preferably in a B2C or B2B environment. 3. Strong sales and negotiation skills with a track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets. 4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. 5. Self-motivated with a proactive approach to work and the ability to work independently. 6. Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships. 7. Knowledge of the local market and industry trends. 8. Proficient in using sales CRM software and other relevant sales tools. 9. Valid driver's license and access to a reliable conveyance for regular travel within the assigned territory. 10. Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
We offer a competitive salary package, including a base salary and commission structure, along with additional benefits such as travel allowances.
Job Type: Full-time
Salary: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per month
